From a young age Dixi has always been musically involved. She grew up being a dancer trained in various art forms and a self taught piano player. She concomitantly discovered and utilized her singing ability by singing bhajans at the BAPS Swaminarayan temple, being a member of Texas A&M University’s South Asian a cappella group, Swaram, and being the lead female vocalist for a band called JashnATL.

She was awarded Best Female Vocalist at a national a cappella competition ‘Gathe Raho‘ in 2012 and she has also opened for Bollywood’s top playback singers, Shreya Ghoshal and Richa Sharma. Her covers have been recognized by The Soch Band, Mickey Singh, Sonam Kapoor, and many more. She is also a full time Pediatrician and has launched three original singles with Shayal and collaborative singles with Raxstar & DJ Twinbeatz. You can hear her tracks being played on BBC Radio UK, Sunrise Radio, Sabras Radio and many more.
